Join our Advisory Council

The Salvation Army in Rockford is looking for members to join our Advisory Council.

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center & Family Store of northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin (located in Rockford, Illinois) is looking to fill seats on our advisory council. We have a few positions open which we would like for local leaders to fill, matching their profession and skillsets.

Seats available for:

Retail Specialist - Someone who currently or has recently managed a large retail store

Human Resource - HR Director for a local business

Realtor - A local real estate professional

Marketing Director - Someone who currently runs the marketing department for a local business

Local Government - Aldermen, advisors, representatives, etc.

This is a non-paid position that meets once a month (for an hour) to discuss how The Salvation Army can better help the local community. Members of the Advisory Council will learn insights into how we operate and will have a vote on large scale projects which affect our daily operations. We are seeking committed individuals who are passionate about helping others.
